I have seen burn injuries associated with laser treatments that are consistent with the pattern of strokes that the doctor or nurse uses to remove the hair or the brown spots.
There was a client who sustained what appeared to be zebra stripe scars from her shoulders to her elbows. They calmed down quite a bit, but it took well over a year for them to begin to heal, and there was some permanent discoloration left over.
Part of the fear one goes through after a burn injury is that it is not always clear how long the scar is going to remain or whether it is going to be permanent, so one just has to wait it out.
