Once we have the evidence and history your case, and before attempting to settle financially, we then consult medical experts, plastic surgeons and dermatologists to understand how the burn injury will impact your life now and forever.

During this assessment, we ask: Will the scarring or disfigurement improve? What medical procedures are going to be required in the future? How much to these procedures cost? And, to what extent is our client at risk for other problems as he or she ages?

Finally, we will explore all of the real-life consequences of the injury such as the permanent damage on the psyche of our client. We do this by getting to know our client as well as his or her family. In some cases, we consider retaining an expert psychologist to qualify and quantify the emotional harm sustained by the victim.
