We are always trying to create an atmosphere where prospective jurors who harbor a bias against motorcyclists feel comfortable disclosing that bias. If I can get a prospective juror to disclose his or her bias against a client, I have a good chance of being able to keep that person off the jury.
I’ll seek to excuse that juror with a “Challenge for Cause” if I can expose their bias against motorcyclists. If that doesn’t work, I can exercise a peremptory challenge to excuse such a juror.
